From a young age, I have always been thoroughly interested in all things technology. My spare time was consumed by fixing up old computers with my friends, building random websites, and trying to jailbreak my iPod without my dad knowing. From that, you'd think that when it came time to apply to college, I would know exactly what I wanted to do with my career, however, that wasn't really the case. My original plan was to go into Supply Chain Management at MSU, not because I was passionate about it, but because I thought it was the best route, the easiest route. That all changed when I took CSE 102, an introductory programming class required for prospective business students. This course resparked the deep passion I once had for computers and technology, and prompted me to switch my major to Computer Science.
Fast forward two and a half years later, I am in my 7th semester at Michigan State and am now an Undergraduate Learning Assistant for the class that once inspired me to change my major. In my free time, I love working on spontaenous side projects and expanding my programming knowledge as much as possible. This past summer, I worked as a Software Developer Intern at Auto Owners Insurance. This was a fantastic learning experience for me and I am excited to apply what I learned to my upcoming schoolwork and future projects!
